Manchester City star Phil Foden set to sign new contract at club

Phil Foden Manchester City

Phil Foden is poised to sign a new contract with Manchester City, which will keep him at the club until 2030.
The England international's current deal was set to expire next summer, but he has provisionally agreed to a four-year extension with an option for a further year.
Despite a recent dip in form and losing his starting place, City are keen to retain the academy product who has been with the club since he was nine.
Foden, aged 25, has made 365 appearances, scored 110 goals, and won numerous major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League.
He was named Footballer of the Year and PFA Player of the Year in 2023-24, but has not scored in his last 25 appearances for City.
