An Ayrshire man has shed a massive 9.5 stone off of his frame after four years of dieting.
Matt Sneddon, from Kilmarnock shed 133lbs after joining the Hurlford Slimming World.
The former digger driver once weighed in at 24.5 stone but decided to charge of his ever-growing waistline after a shock discovery at the doctors.
Matt, now a trim 15.5 stone, said: "I went for a medical exam and my cholesterol was sky high, it was heart attack material. I stopped my unhealthy lifestyle there and then.
"On an average day before Slimming World, I'd eat two full rolls for breakfast, a Chinese for lunchtime, and a big dinner like a kebab plus loads of unhealthy snacks.
"I used to be skinny but when I started driving diggers I got lazy."
Matt has ditched the takeaways for healthy options and his new figure has helped his confidence grow.
He said: "Losing the weight has been great. I had never been abroad before because I was so embarrassed to be seen in swimwear and shorts but now I've been on holiday four times.
"My new role as a transport manager keeps me active and I walk everywhere with my wee dog Digger.
"All of my family is over the moon and when my sister saw me she cried."
Matt was cheered on by Slimming World pal Liz Cunninghame.
He said: "Liz is the knight in shinning armor at Slimming World, she helped me lots and in turn I've helped others.
"I've even been offered to take on a franchise with Slimming World but it's too much for me right now with my job.
"I would say to anyone who wants to lose weight to give Slimming World a chance. It's the easiest diet I've ever done and it's easily added years to my life. "
