A man who walked out on his family after falling in love with a young Ukrainian refugee has revealed that they have split.
Tony Garnett, 30, said his relationship with Sofia Karkadym, 22, is now "finished" as he said he is "100 per cent through with her".
The security guard famously left his partner of 10 years and mother of his two children after they took Ms Karkadym in as a refugee.

Ms Garnett claimed that the Ukrainian wore "low cut tops and red lipstick" around the house to impress her then boyfriend.
Mr Garnett eventually split from his long-term partner and started living in a new property with Ms Karkadym.
However, the whirlwind romance did not last, and Mr Garnett has now dumped his Ukrainian partner.
He told MailOnline: "I am 100 per cent through with her. We are finished as a couple.
"I left Lorna and my two children for her, and I made every extra effort I could to help her keep us together.
"I worked so hard to make this relationship work. I knew that we would look like tw**s if we broke up because we have a media profile and all the attention that has been put on us on television and on the internet."
The security guard claimed that he called things off after the pair had an argument during Mr Garnett's 30th birthday celebration on Saturday night.
He described his relationship with Ms Karkadym as a "mistake" but said he was still looking out for her.
He added that he has even been messaging her mum since their breakup.
Mr Garnett said he would contact the council and Home Office to try and find the Ukrainian a new home.
He had always insisted his relationship with his former partner Ms Garnett was "already over" by the time he met Ms Karkadym.
But Ms Garnett previously told The Sun: "She set her sights on Anthony from the start, decided she wanted him, and she took him.
"I just don't understand how he could throw all that away for a woman he's known for a fortnight. The life I knew is shattered."
Ms Garnett claimed the refugee would "put on make-up, style her hair and wear a low-cut top only around the time Tony returned home from work".
