One of the twelve thieves who robbed Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in Paris in 2016 has said he ‘doesn’t feel guilty’ about the heist, and blames her.
In October 2016, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room she had booked during Paris Fashion Week.
The masked thieves were aged between 60 and 72, they tied her up and duct-taped her mouth and eyes shut as they carried out the robbery.

The press dubbed them, “the grandpa robbers.”
It was the biggest robbery committed against an individual in France in two decades, with the thieves making off with a combined haul worth about €9 million, including her engagement ring.
Yunis Abbas, 67, is one of the men arrested for the burglary and holds no remorse for the incident.
Abbas spent nearly two years in prison, but was released after 22 months for health reasons related to his heart.
During a sit-down interview with David Letterman in 2020, Kardashian addressed the traumatising incident, and broke down on screen.
Kardashian expressed how it had left her in fear, and constantly feeling anxious.
Abbas wrote the book, I Kidnapped Kim Kardashian, which was released in 2021 and details the terrifying incident.
In an interview with Vice, Abbas discussed planning the heist and stated that he had no remorse despite leaving Kardashian "traumatised."
He has blamed Kim for the crime, saying she “should be a little less showy, for some people, it’s provocative.”
On being asked if he felt guilty for his actions, the thief said: “Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don’t care.”
He said the gang used the Internet to track down Kardashian and rob her after he noticed her all over social media flashing her jewels.
"I went on the internet and I saw her jewellery. I saw her ring. I saw that she showed it everywhere."
"We knew this information through social media. We knew that she was coming for Fashion Week, so we went there to do some reconnaissance so we were sure", Abbas bragged.
The smug thief revisited the location with the interviewer.
“We were there from midnight, we got in through the little door that was open on the inside.
“As soon as we got in, we took control of the concierge. We overpowered him, we tied him up, then we looked for the keys of the bedroom she was staying in”, he said.
Abbas added: “I stayed downstairs, but my two colleagues went upstairs with the concierge to go to Ms. Kardashian’s room.”
“Then they picked up the jewellery, they went downstairs. Ms Kardashian’s secretary called for help. She called 911 in the United states, which scared us, which made them lose a lot of time, when we got out, there was a bunch of police outside, who knew nothing about the robbery.”
Abbas acknowledged that no one had any prior knowledge of Kim, but they knew who Kanye West was.
Vice asked him “How did you get caught?”
To which Abbas responded, “Because I left my DNA, when I overpowered the guard, so I took his hands, I tied him up, and by doing so, I left my DNA.”
“As I already had a record, it was easy to trace me.”
After the robbery, Kim spoke out several times about how the robbery affected her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Six years on, she's been a lot more cautious about what she shares online.
