Man who raped girl in city alley was convicted paedophile on licence

A teenage girl was targeted and raped in a city centre alleyway by a convicted paedophile who was out on licence.

Liverpool Crown Court heard Kevin Lloyd, 37, ripped off his victim's clothing and raped her while she was too incapacitated through drink to fight back and his vile friend, Ryan Dunning, acted as look-out. Judge Louise Brandon described the incident, which happened at 1.40am on March 21 last year, as “every woman’s worst nightmare".

The teenage girl had been to a rave and then various bars, and recalled meeting the defendants before her lapse in memory. The men approached their victim on Parker Street, which runs between Church Street up to Clayton Square, before starting their vile attack.
