A man who inherited $1 million (£756,550) says the windfall changed his lifestyle, but not in the way he initially expected. Rather than immediately spending heavily on luxury purchases, he made several deliberate choices about what not to buy.
He said he invested most of the money, paid off debt, and began working less. He also travelled abroad, bought a new car, ate out more frequently, and hired sex workers.
