A man admitted assisting an offender in relation to the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel, the ECHO can reveal.
Thomas Cashman, of Grenadier Drive in West Derby, was today found guilty of murdering the nine-year-old. She was shot dead inside her own home on Kingsheath Avenue in Dovecot on the evening of August 22 last year.
It can now be revealed that 41-year-old Paul Russell pleaded guilty to assisting an offender in October 2022 after disposing of the clothing worn by the gunman and driving him back to his van following the shooting. This could not be reported until now due to the ongoing proceedings against Cashman.
