Man who can't find NHS dentist pulls out 11 of his own teeth

A man who says he can't find an NHS dentist has pulled out 11 of his own teeth. George Glinos has been carrying out his own dental work for around four years.

He has kept the teeth he has pulled himself in a jar. George said he attempts to get on the books of an NHS dentist by calling on the first day of every month, but said "nobody is interested" in taking on new patients.

Self-treatment is advised against by the NHS. Patients in urgent need are advised to call the NHS 111 helpline or a local dentistry practice, reports the LiverpoolECHO.
