TikTok creator Jimmy Wrigg opens his video standing inside a Walmart, telling the camera he’s testing Great Value bacon “again.” The actual weighing doesn’t happen on the store floor. It takes place afterward, on a kitchen scale set up over a wooden cutting board, where Wrigg calibrates the device with a 100-gram weight, switches the display to ounces, and starts pulling bacon out of its packaging to see what the numbers say.
After opening the first package, he sets it on the scale and gets a reading well short of 16 ounces. “13.4 ounces. Two and a half ounces underweight,” he says, treating the one-pound package as a 16-ounce baseline. A second package he tests comes in at 14 ounces, two full ounces under that same mark.
