Police have launched a re-appeal in a desperate bid to find a man who vanished from an Inverclyde hospital one week ago,
Stephen McFarlane was last seen on CCTV inside Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock at around 2am on July 7. The 32-year-old is not believed to be carrying his medication, which he needs to take on a daily basis.
He is described as white, around five feet, 10 inches tall and of slim build, with short, dark hair. When last seen, he was wearing a white polo shirt with a grey collar, grey jogging bottoms and black, Nike trainers.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. Officers are scouring CCTV and contacting taxi and transport firms in a bid to trace Stephen.
There have been no further sightings of him so far. Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is urged to come forward.
Inspector Paul Thompson said: “Since Stephen was reported missing on July 11 officers have been checking CCTV and making enquiries locally, including taxi and transport companies, however, since being seen at the hospital there have been no further sightings and no one has heard from him. He is required to take daily medication which we don’t believe he has with him or access to hence our concern for his well-being.
“We would ask people to get in touch with police if they see him as a matter of urgency. We, along with his family, just want to make sure he is safe and well.”
If anyone believes they have seen Stephen, or has any information, contact Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2416 of Monday, July 11, 2022."
