The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures have already been released and it promises to be an exciting campaign for Manchester United.
The Red Devils are aiming to build-on a fourth-placed finish, whilst continuing their habit of winning silverware under Erik ten Hag. Some signings at Old Trafford would certainly help the Dutchman in achieving those targets.
Despite the current takeover situation at Old Trafford appearing to put the brakes on any deals, that does not mean that there is a lack of rumours. Take a look at the latest players that United have been linked with:
United put together fresh Rice plan
West Ham and England star Declan Rice has long been coveted by those at Old Trafford. However, it appeared that they were set to lose out on his signature this summer with Premier League rivals Arsenal appearing to be in the driving seat for a deal.
The Red Devils have put together a fresh plan to beat the Gunners to Rice’s services. According to The Telegraph, United are willing to offer two players in a part-exchange deal with the Hammers.
Current captain Harry Maguire - who continues to be linked with a move away - could be considered in a swap deal, whilst Scott McTominay could also move to the London Stadium. Arsenal have already had two offers turned down for Rice as they attempt to strike an agreement with West Ham.

Harry Kane ‘hopes’ for Man Utd move
Whilst Rice could potentially be on his way to Old Trafford this summer, he could also be joined by England teammate Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker was a prime target for the Red Devils at the start of the summer as Erik ten Hag continues to push to sign a new centre-forward.
United had appeared to put an end to their interest after being put off by Daniel Levy’s demands. As first reported by Mail Online, the Tottenham striker still hopes that United resurrect their efforts to sign him.
But they face a tough time convincing Daniel Levy to sell his prized asset. The Tottenham chairman continues to want at least £100m for Kane, despite his contract situation.
Red Devils handed Kolo-Muani boost
Amid some slight doubt over Spurs star Kane, United have already started identifying alternatives. One of those is Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani and the Red Devils might now have a better chance to sign him.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, one of the interested parties in him, Real Madrid, will now not pursue a deal. It was suggested that he could potentially replace Karim Benzema in the Spanish capital.
Real have apparently been put off by his €80m price-tag, whilst they are willing to wait for Kylian Mbappe next summer.
