It was all smiles as Carrington on Thursday, as Mason Mount completed his first training session as a Manchester United player.
Mount, 24, has signed a five-year contract with United following his £60million move from Chelsea. "I can’t wait to be part of this group’s drive to win major trophies," said the England international, who won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021.
United boss Erik ten Hag believes Mount can push the team closer to ending their 10-year wait for a Premier League title. The Red Devils haven't been champions of England since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 - and they haven't conquered Europe since 2008.
United must continue to be active in the transfer market if they are to be successful. But who are they after? Here are the latest headlines from Old Trafford.
Hojlund bid expected
United will launch a £50m bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to The Telegraph. The Denmark international, 20, scored nine goals in 32 Serie A appearances last season and United scouts believe he can become a prolific superstar.
Ten Hag is on the hunt for a new striker after Cristiano Ronaldo left United by mutual consent last November. Wout Weghorst was signed on loan in January, but the Dutchman has since returned to parent club Burnley after failing to score in the Premier League.
Hojlund has expressed a desire to play for United and personal terms are not expected to be a problem if a transfer fee is agreed with Atalanta. Ten Hag has a limited transfer budget this summer, which is why he's not targeting Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen.
Onana deal close
As exclusively revealed by Mirror Football, United are on the verge of signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. The two clubs are close to agreeing a £40m transfer fee for the 27-year-old goalkeeper, who will replace the out-of-contract David de Gea.
Onana played under Ten Hag at Ajax and will suit the United manager's style of play. If the proposed deal collapses, United will swoop for Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow. The Netherlands international, 25, won the Eredivisie title last season.

Henderson heading out
Dean Henderson is set to miss United's pre-season tour of the United States. Nottingham Forest are considering signing the 26-year-old goalkeeper in a £30m deal after he spent last season on loan at the City Ground, helping them stay in the Premier League.
Henderson hasn't played for United for more than a year after describing the club's treatment of him as "criminal". Ten Hag is preparing for life without Henderson and De Gea, as he wants to sign two goalkeepers - Onana or Bijlow and an understudy.
United are still in talks with De Gea over a contract extension, but the prospects of him staying at Old Trafford look increasingly slim. Ten Hag's team will play against Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund during their tour of the United States.
