Man Utd set to be focus of Amazon Prime documentary as plans announced for new series

Amazon Amazon Prime Manchester United Arsenal Christian Liewig Bayern Munich Manchester City the Premier League

Amazon Prime are set to create a new documentary focusing on Manchester United's treble-winning season of 1999.

The historic achievement stands alone in English football - although Manchester City are doing their upmost to join them by doing the treble themselves. Amazon are now looking to take a trip down memory lane ahead of the 25th anniversary of the iconic feat.

The documentary will not be released until next year with few details being given away following Amazon's announcement on Thursday. Major figures from United's season, the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, could be contributors.
