Man Utd sent Declan Rice transfer warning amid West Ham stand-off

Kleberson believes Manchester United should only pursue Declan Rice if he will fit in with the system used by Erik ten Hag as they weigh up a potential £100million swoop for the midfielder.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from West Ham United this summer, with Manchester City, the Red Devils and Chelsea all reportedly keen on the player. Ten Hag is set to make a new midfielder his primary target in the transfer window as he looks to bolster his squad.

Rice could be someone who makes the move to Old Trafford, although West Ham are hugely reluctant to lose arguably their brightest prospect. This is even after the England international rejected a staggering eight-year, 200,000-a-week contract. He has so far turned down three new deals with the Hammers, who are keen to keep him from the clutches of their Premier League rivals.
