Manchester United's wage bill has soared to staggering new levels following a summer of huge spending at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were one of Europe’s highest spenders during the most recent transfer window with a huge outlay of approximately £215m seeing the club welcome six new faces to the club. The likes of Antony, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia all arrived at Old Trafford for considerable fees, with Christian Eriksen and Martin Dubravka being signed on a free transfer and on loan respectively.
That splurge has seen the club’s wage bill rocket to even higher levels with a total pay packet of almost £400million now set to be owed to players come the end of the current season.
