It comes after weeks of back and forth over the future of the England international, who has an uncertain few weeks ahead this summer. The 24-year-old has just one-year remaining on his contract, with no breakthrough on the possibility of an extension to that current deal.
Reports have stated that the current stance for Mount is that he will leave this summer for a fee or he will make a move next year on a free transfer. It leaves the Blues in a vulnerable position, with interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool circling.
