Erik ten Hag will be desperate to ensure Manchester United get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they make the trip to Goodison Park to face off with Everton.
The Red Devils were resoundingly beaten by local rivals Manchester City last weekend, with Pep Guardiola's side running out 6-3 victors at the Etihad courtesy of hat-tricks from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden. United's blushes were partly spared by a late Anthony Martial brace that made the scoreline look a tad more respectable.
The gulf in class between the two Manchester clubs was on full display last time out, but Ten Hag's men can bounce back on Merseyside. However, it will not be easy - Everton look significantly more resilient than they did this time last season and the Red Devils' attack has hardly been free-flowing.
When it comes to how United are likely to line-up, there will be no shocks in goal as David de Gea will almost certainly take his usual place between the sticks. In contrast, there could be as many as two changes within the back four.
Diogo Dalot will keep his place at right-back, but with Raphael Varane an injury doubt and club captain Harry Maguire also still sidelined, Victor Lindelof could be the man to partner Lisandro Martinez in the heart of the defence.
Summer signing Tyrell Malacia has impressed for the most part during his short United career, but had an afternoon to forget at the Etihad and was hooked off in place for Luke Shaw. That is likely to be the case from the first whistle at Goodison, with the England international taking Malacia's spot during the mid-week Europa League win over Omonia.

The midfield is likely to remain the same as the one that took to the field against City, with a pairing of Christian Eriksen alongside Scott McTominay to play behind a more attacking trio tasked with breaking down the Toffees defence.
Two of the three players in front of them are also expected to remain the same as last Sunday in marquee summer signing Antony and Bruno Fernandes. However, last year's mega-money arrival Jadon Sancho could be dropped to cater for a tweak to Marcus Rashford's role.
The England international started as a centre-forward seven days ago, but Ten Hag could deploy him out wide after his fantastic performance out in Cyprus in that position on Thursday evening.
A change to the centre-forward could have some hoping for the reintegration of Cristiano Ronaldo, but it is far more likely to be Martial that is rewarded with a start as a response to his three goals in his last two outings.
Predicted Man Utd XI against Everton (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw; McTominay, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial
