It was a bittersweet weekend for Erik ten Hag and his Manchester United side.
A 2-0 win over Everton, courtesy of Scott McTominay's well-taken first-half effort and Anthony Martial's first Premier League goal since December, cemented fourth place in the table. But the three points were tainted by the sight of Marcus Rashford hobbling off late on.

United will head to the USA this summer where they will play a friendly with Wrexham. But they seemingly won't be part of anything bigger, despite the Premier League reportedly ready to announce a new "summer series" tournament involving six teams in the US.
Instead, Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brentford and Brighton and potentially Leeds will be involved - pending their final Premier League position. The selection criteria has now been outlined, but given the American ownership - for now at least - and their immense global pulling power, some may be surprised the 20-time top flight winners aren't involved.
