Manchester United will secure a return to the Champions League if they avoid defeat to Chelsea at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Erik ten Hag's side are fourth in the Premier League table, three points ahead of Liverpool in fifth with a game in hand. United need just a point from their final two fixtures to confirm their fate, with their campaign ending at home to Fulham at Sunday afternoon.
Ten Hag will be hoping his players can get over the line against the Blues, especially with the takeover saga continuing to drag on. It's just over a month until the transfer window officially opens. With that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Old Trafford.
Qatar to move on?
Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) are interested in purchasing Brazilian club Santos.
The rumour has emerged amid Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani's attempt to complete a takeover of United. The Glazers put United up for sale in November, with Sheikh Jassim battling INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe for ownership of the club.
Ratcliffe is thought to be winning the takeover race because of his willingness to keep two members of the Glazer Family - United's co-chairs Avram and Joel - on board. The other four Glazer siblings - Bryan, Edward, Darcie and Kevin - are happy to sell up.
Do you think the Glazers will eventually sell Manchester United? Let us know in the comments below!
The Raine Group, who are administering the takeover on the Glazers' behalf, are expected to name a preferred bidder shortly. But the takeover saga is still expected to rumble on for some time yet, with the Premier League needing to approve any offer.

United after Ferguson
Ten Hag is interested in signing Evan Ferguson from Brighton, despite rejecting the striker after a trial. The Republic of Ireland international, 18, supported United as a kid but joined the Seagulls in January 2021 after failing to land a contract at Old Trafford.
Ferguson has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Brighton, scoring 10 goals in 23 first-team appearances. It's believed United's academy director Nick Cox has described the teenager as a '£50million-plus mistake' - such is their regret at failing to sign him.

Osimhen's £140m price tag
United must pay £140m if they want to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer. The Nigeria international, 24, has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season, including 23 in Serie A to fire his current employers to their first top-flight title in 33 years.
Napoli are determined to keep hold of their prized asset this summer, with president Aurelio De Laurentiis unwilling to sanction a deal unless someone stumps up £140m. That could prove too expensive for United, especially considering their takeover saga.
The good news for United is they can sign Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae for just £43m thanks to a release clause in his contract. The South Korea international must now decide whether he swap Naples for Manchester when the transfer window opens.
