It's time for Manchester United to get serious - on and off the field.
After a strong winter guided by Erik ten Hag, a feeling of unease has quickly washed over Old Trafford amid troublesome performances on the pitch and delays in the club's potential sale. Sunday's dismal 2-0 loss away to Newcastle laid bare the issues in lingering United squad's, as the Red Devils looked far from the Champions League outfit which they aspire to be.
Aside from the woes of St James' Park, the Glazer family are still weighing up whether to sell United to cling on to extend their much-maligned 18-year reign. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani are bidding against a £6billion asking price, as the summer transfer window draws nears and fans' levels of concern go up.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Old Trafford.
Ten Hag turns back to Felix
Erik ten Hag is ready to turn his attention back to signing Joao Felix after it emerged that Chelsea don't have a set option to buy the Portuguese forward once his loan spell comes to an end. Felix, 23, is due to head back to Atletico Madrid once this season comes to a close after an underwhelming six months in West London.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo report that Ten Hag again wants to sign Portugal international after being put off by Atletico's £9.6million asking price for a half-season loan in January. Felix, who was signed by Los Rojiblancos for a club-record £113m in the summer of 2019, could be available for around £88m come July.

Glazers planning to use credit card for transfers
The Glazers could use Manchester United's line of credit to make up to £300m's worth of new signings this summer if they're still in charge by the summer transfer window. As laid out by The Athletic, the Red Devils' current owners have been using a line of credit with Bank of America Securities to aid cash flow since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Antony and Casemiro were both purchased using short-term borrowing last summer, the sum of which United are confident they can pay off In June. But if the Glazers choose not to sell the club and go into another transfer window, the American family could go back into debt with the bank in order to bolster Ten Hag's squad.

Ten Hag looking at six strikers
While Harry Kane may be Manchester United's top striker target this summer, Erik ten Hag has also been assessing a number of other options for what The Athletic describe as his priority position to improve. Victor Osimhen, who's set to lift the Italian title with Napoli this season, and Benfica hotshot Goncalo Ramos have long been linked with a move to Old Trafford but the Red Devils are keeping tabs on three others.
Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson has seen his stock rise in recent months and United officials have made a check on him. That's alongside Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani and Atalanta prodigy Rasmus Hojlund.
