With the takeover saga continuing to drag on, Manchester United's top four hopes have taken a hit after they suffered a second consecutive defeat to West Ham on Sunday.
Following a 1-0 loss to Brighton on Thursday after Luke Shaw gave away a late penalty, United were beaten 1-0 by West Ham just three days later after David de Gea made a terrible blunder.
Erik ten Hag's side now sit just one point ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool, albeit with an extra game in hand, but risk missing out on Champions League qualification if they cannot get back to winning ways next weekend when they face Wolves.

Club divided on De Gea's future
After gifting a goal to Said Benrahma in United's 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the weekend, De Gea has now made more errors leading directly to a goal in all competitions this season than any other Premier League player.
The goalkeeper is out of contract at the end of the season and, although Ten Hag publicly backed him after the game, his future remains uncertain. Senior figures at United have reservations about De Gea and his status as No. 1 is under threat.
The Spaniard is currently in talks with United over a new deal, with the club offering a significant reduction in wages from £375,000-a-week to around £200,000-a-week. However, some within the club are questioning the wisdom of extending his deal, even on reduced terms.

Shearer slams "not good enough" Martial
Alan Shearer has branded Anthony Martial "not good enough" for Manchester United after he missed two huge chances against West Ham. "Whatever your opinion is, I think he's had enough time Martial," Shearer told Premier League Productions.
"You don't need to make any big decision on him because I think the decision has already been made or it should already have been made. He's been there long enough, he's had enough chances.
"He's not good enough to take Manchester United to where they want to go. If he was good enough he would be starting on a regular basis and he would be scoring goals. He's had his time and it hasn’t worked for him, that's my opinion. We could have been sat here for another few hours and we never felt that they were going to find the back of the net."

Neville fumes at Carragher over Glazers comment
Gary Neville has been left fuming at fellow Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legend appeared to defend the Glazers.
Following the loss to West Hame, Neville tweeted: "United so poor in this game. ETH seeing more of the players in these situations is a positive. Allows him to sort out who he wants on the bus. The real disgrace are the Glazers. Are they waiting for the last game at OT to pass??? It would be typical of them.
"Weak and shirking accountability and responsibility to the end! Members of staff on and off the pitch are in an uncertain position waiting for new owners! Let alone recruitment and what budget their is going to be! This should have been done! Classless to the end!"
Carragher disagreed with Neville, responding: "Yeah the Glazers decided to play Weghorst as a 10, spend 90M on Antony & 70M on Casemiro (31) on a 5 yr deal!!" This prompted Neville to hit back: "Come on know your subject. They told ETH (when he needed a striker with CR7 going) he couldn’t spend any money. They sanctioned those other two deals after Brentford 4-0 to save their backsides as they were under pressure. They sign the cheques and take responsibility for everything post-SAF! They're a shambles!"
