Manchester United went unscathed on the injury front in their 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night.
Benjamin Sesko stepped off the bench to score his third goal in four games to send Michael Carrick’s side back into the top four of the Premier League.
However, ahead of kick off, they were dealt a big blow with the absence of a key defender, who sat out of the victory on Merseyside.
It was only a temporary blow for the Red Devils, however, as they claimed a big three points that puts them clear of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race for the Champions League places.
With that said, here’s all the latest Manchester United injury news and potential return dates...
Lisandro Martinez
Martinez was not included in the matchday squad at Everton on Monday, with reports emerging ahead of kick off that the Argentine had suffered a suspected calf injury.
The defender had played United’s last nine games, and had last November returned from an ACL injury that had kept him out for nine months.
His absence at the Hill Dickinson Stadium allowed Leny Yoro a rare start under Carrick alongside Harry Maguire, who shifted onto the left side of the central defensive duo.
Martinez is expected to be out for a week or two, and that could be costly, with United set to face Crystal Palace and Newcastle in their next two games.
“Unfortunately he just picked up something during the week,” Carrick said ahead of the Everton match.
“It doesn’t seem too bad at all, but we’re just kind of working through that at the moment, so he’s not available tonight. He’s obviously done well for us, and it’s disappointing.”
Potential return date: March 1 vs Crystal Palace (H)

Mason Mount
Mason Mount has been sidelined since missing United’s defeat of Fulham on February 1, but is at the front of the returning players queue.
The former Chelsea midfielder was left out against the Cottagers after picking up a minor injury in training, and has since mised a defeat of Tottenham and draw with West Ham.
Now out of both cup competitions, United were handed an extended lay-off after sharing the points with the Irons, giving Mount ample time to recover.
He did not return to the matchday squad to face Everton on Monday night, but it is hoped he can make a comeback in the coming days.
Previewing United’s meeting with the Toffees, Carrick said: “Mason (Mount) is getting closer. We have to be patient with him, we don't want to rush anything.
“He's an important part of the group, Mason, and we want him back and fit and he'll have a big impact for us. So, he's getting closer, which is good for us.”
Potential return date: March 1 vs Crystal Palace (H)
Matthijs de Ligt
Some 86 days have now passed since Matthijs de Ligt last played for United.
The Dutch centre-back suffered a lower-back injury during a defeat of Crystal Palace in late November, and he is yet to return to the pitch despite then-manager Ruben Amorim promising a swift recovery.
He has not yet been able to train, either, and Carrick has not been able to deliver a positive update.
Speaking last week, he said De Ligt was making slow progress on his recovery.
“Matta, a little bit working towards it, but as I said last week, he's a little bit behind Mason, really, so we're just trying to work with him, to progress him, to get him a bit closer.”
Potential return date: Unknown
Patrick Dorgu
Patrick Dorgu’s latest injury came at an inopportune moment, just as he was finding form under Carrick.
Mere minutes after he scored an impressive equaliser at the Emirates as United beat Arsenal 3-2, he lost his balance while chasing a loose ball and immediately clutched at his thigh.
It was later reported that he had torn his hamstring and was facing 10 weeks on the sidelines, which would leave him sidelined until April.
Carrick later explained: “Pat, unfortunately, is going to be out for a period of time. We are still working through how long that is going to be.

“It’s disappointing because he has had such a big couple of weeks. We weren't sure if it was a little bit of cramp or if it was something more serious.
“At the moment, it is looking a little bit more of a serious note. A few weeks out. How many weeks? We will have to wait and see.
“It is disappointing for all of us and Pat, he is in such a good place but unfortunately it is part of football and something you have got to work through and get him back as soon as we can.”
Potential return date: April
