Manchester United now face a fight to qualify for the Champions League.
Sunday’s loss to top four rivals Newcastle puts the pressure on Wednesday night’s trip to Brentford, with Erik ten Hag’s side currently sat in fifth.
While United boast two games in hand on fourth-placed Tottenham, few would doubt they have struggled since winning the Carabao Cup in February.
Ten Hag’s team have not scored a Premier League goal since and have little margin for error with the race for Champions League qualification so tight.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest on Manchester United injuries.
