Man Utd handed rare kick-off time as Jurgen Klopp's fixture rants finally acknowledged

Everton's clash with Manchester United in October will kick off at 7pm despite being a selected televised game on a Sunday.

It is almost unheard of for a Premier League game on a Sunday to take place so late, but the change has been done with the away side's Europa League commitments in mind. Normally the latest Sunday game would kick off at around 4.30pm, but changes to Premier League guidelines have led to the unusual start time.

Going forward teams who have played in the Champions League on a Wednesday night will no longer be involved in the 12.30pm kick-off on a Saturday. The Europa League, which takes place on a Thursday, is now also being considered and Ten Hag's side will have just under 72 hours to prepare for their game at Everton thanks to the time change.
