Marcus Rashford is a potential injury doubt for Manchester United's upcoming game against Tottenham. The England international featured in the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Everton last Saturday but was withdrawn in the 80th minute through injury.
As Rashford immediately headed down the tunnel rather than making his way to the Manchester United substitutes' bench, it raised concerns about a potential problem for the in-form attacker. Ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash against Sevilla, the Red Devils have confirmed that the 25-year-old will be "unavailable for a few games" due to a muscle injury.
A statement on Manchester United's official website read: "Marcus Rashford will be unavailable for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final game against Sevilla because of a muscle injury.

"The forward was withdrawn in the 80th minute of Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League win over Everton at Old Trafford and immediately headed to the dressing room for treatment. Subsequent assessment of the injury suggested that Marcus will be unavailable for a few games, but is expected to be back for the season run-in."
With no specific date in mind when Rashford will be back on the pitch, Erik ten Hag may have to do without the frontman when his side travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, April 27. Prior to the game in N17 in just over two weeks' time, United face two Europa League quarter-final ties vs Sevilla, a Premier League clash away at Nottingham Forest and an FA Cup semi-final showdown against Brighton & Hove Albion.
If indeed Rashford is to be absent against Tottenham, he will be a huge miss after plundering 28 goals in all competitions for his club in 2022/23. The striker did come up against Spurs back in October but was not on the scoresheet that evening as goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes sealed the 2-0 victory.
As things stand, Tottenham are in fifth and three points behind Manchester United in the final Champions League position. Spurs' rivals do have a game in hand to come at the start of May against Brighton, with a new date also needing to be found for their home match against Chelsea as it has been postponed due to their participation in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
