Manchester United have reportedly drawn-up a three-player shortlist of strikers who they will evaluate signing this summer, including Tottenham talisman Harry Kane.
United are working on a deal to sign striker Wout Weghorst until the end of the season after the striker emerged as a surprise transfer target for Erik ten Hag. Weghorst – a compatriot of the United boss, who scored twice for Netherlands against Argentina in the World Cup quarter-final – is on loan at Turkish club Besiktas from Burnley.
It comes after Cristiano Ronaldo – who completed a stunning move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr – left Old Trafford in November. The Portuguese superstar ended his relationship with United by mutual consent following a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.
