Manchester United are preparing to make their move for Harry Kane with an £80million offer for the England captain.
United boss Erik ten Hag has made the Tottenham star his No.1 transfer target this summer and the Old Trafford hierarchy have given the move the green light. Kane has one year left on his current Spurs contract and United know they will face competition for the 29-year-old, with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea also in the race to sign him.
According to the Daily Star, Ten Hag has told his United bosses they cannot afford to lose out on Kane this summer and has urged them to open talks with Spurs as soon as possible. Kane will turn 30 in July and Ten Hag is convinced landing him would turn United into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.
