Chelsea can go one step closer in securing Champions League football next season by breaking their nine-year duck at Old Trafford when they face Manchester United. The current European champions have picked up two defeats in their last five meetings and will want to turn that form around as well as achieve the objective sooner rather than later.
The Blues are the favourites for the trip at 5/4 with Betfred while United are 21/10 and a draw is 12/5. Despite United's poor form of late, the hosts are unbeaten in their last eight home league matches against Chelsea and have kept five clean sheets in that time since losing 1-0 to west London club back in May 2013.
Thomas Tuchel's side can pull themselves away from a top four dogfight and extend their lead to eight points over fourth-place Arsenal and sink United's chances of securing a place in next season's Champions League further with a win. Home defeats to Brentford and Arsenal have been far from ideal for the German head coach to see but a win over a West Ham side looking to surprise a few at the end of this season would have been the boost they were desperately needing.

Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick will be hoping to see some major improvements to his side too before leaving the dugout for successor Erik Ten Hag. The German coach has only picked up two league wins in their last eight outings which included a 4-0 drubbing to arch-rivals and title hopefuls Liverpool.

Timo Werner has been impressive lately with the German forward picking up four goals in as many matches in all competitions. He was quality against Real Madrid in the Champions League and was lethal away at Southampton before scoring a consolation goal against Arsenal at home.
It seems like something has clicked in the former RB Leipzig player and we are not beginning to see glimpses of why the player was chased by some of Europe's biggest clubs before choosing Stamford Bridge as his new home. He is 23/10 to score anytime too.
