Man United urged to keep ‘amazing coach’ Michael Carrick at Old Trafford

  • Benjamin Sesko has urged Manchester United to appoint “amazing coach” Michael Carrick as their permanent manager, praising his positive influence on the team's performance.
  • Carrick has guided Manchester United to a strong run of form, accumulating 29 points from 13 matches and bringing them close to securing a spot in next season's Champions League.
  • Sesko, who scored the decisive goal in United’s 2-1 victory over Brentford on Monday, has scored six of his 10 league goals this season under Carrick, and highlighted the coach's ability to bring “different energy” to the squad.
  • The winning goal against Brentford was assisted by Bruno Fernandes, bringing his Premier League assist total to 19 for the season, just one short of the joint record held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.
  • Sesko also expressed regret over the impending departure of Casemiro, whose contract expires in the summer, acknowledging the Brazilian midfielder's invaluable experience and “unbelievable” work rate.
