Man told to wash himself at swimming baths with boiler broken for six weeks

A man was left unable to shower for weeks after being left with a broken boiler for six weeks.

Karl Stake, 56, has slammed his housing association after he was left without hot water or heating for six weeks following an annual check on his boiler.

He was forced to to travel to family and friends to wash as appointments to fix the boiler were repeatedly cancelled.
