Man to appear in court on firearms offences following Belfast City Centre incident

Belfast City Centre Belfast Magistrates Court

A man has been charged with firearms offences following an incident that saw police close a section of Belfast City Centre.

Officers closed off a section of Fisherwick Place on Thursday, May 12, for a couple of hours as they responded to an incident close to the Jury's Inn hotel.

There was a large police presence in the area following the incident, with police ATOs and crime scene investigators also arriving at the scene.
