A man was taken to hospital with "multiple injuries" after a car overturned at a roundabout in Northumberland.
Northumbria Police was called at around 1.15am on Friday morning following a report of a one-vehicle collision at the roundabout near Callerton Lane, Darras Hall in Ponteland. Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with multiple injuries that are described as "serious".
Police closed the B6545 in both directions from Callerton Lane to the A696 Ponteland Road, while the incident was dealt with but officers confirmed this morning that it has since reopened. Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with the police.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "At about 1.15am today (Friday) we received a report of a one-vehicle collision at the roundabout near Callerton Lane, Darras Hall.
"Emergency services attended and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with multiple injuries that are described as serious.
"The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of our website or by calling 101 quoting log NP-20220520-0059."
