A man has been transported to hospital following a collision in Newcastle.
A motorcycle reportedly collided with a parked car near Gill's Fish Bar on Welbeck Road in Walker. The incident occurred just before 1pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Police, paramedics and a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulance Service descended on the scene. One man sustained a leg injury and was transported to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) for treatment. It is unclear how serious his injuries are at this stage.

A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: "We were called at 12:51 to a road traffic collision between a car and a motorbike on Welbeck Road, Walker.
"We dispatched a rapid response paramedic, a clinical team leader and a rapid response paramedic. We were also assisted by a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulance. One patient was transported to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
Northumbria Police said they were contacted at 12.55pm by the NEAS who were in attendance at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Welbeck Road, Walker.
A spokesperson for the force said: "It was reported a motorcycle had collided with a parked car near Gill's Fish Bar. One male sustained a leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment."
