A man was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car near Sefton Park.
Merseyside Police first received a call at 7.08pm on Friday, September 23, following reports of a crash on Aigburth Drive, one of the roads running around Sefton Park. Once a number of patrol cars and undercover vehicles arrived at the scene, they found a motorbike and car had crashed.
The North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene, where they assisted the motorbike rider with an injury to his leg. The man was rushed to hospital, and his injuries are described as minor.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
