A man was taken to hospital after a crash which left a main road in east Manchester closed for around two hours. Emergency services were called at about 10.45am on Saturday following the two car crash on Cheeryble Street off Ashton Old Road in Openshaw.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Police say no arrests were made.

The road closure caused delays in the area, with some bus services diverted. Stagecoach tweeted: "Due to the current diversion in place caused by the closure of Ashton Old Road, we've delays averaging 20 minutes along the route.
"Sorry if this is affecting your journey with us today."
