A man suffered serious injuries after a hit and run near KFC.
The man was walking towards KFC along Hospital Way in Runcorn at around 6.40pm on Tuesday, June 13, when he remonstrated with a driver. The car, a blue or purple Ford Fiesta, drove off before doing a U-turn and colliding with the man as he crossed the road.
The car then made off from the scene, leaving the seriously injured man who was then taken to hospital.
DC Nathaniel Walkowiak said: “I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to contact us. The same goes for anyone who was driving in this area at around 6.40pm and has captured the incident on dashcam footage.”
