Man suffers serious injuries in Brentry crash

A man remains in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Brentry over the weekend. Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses of the collision on Knole Lane, near the junction with Forest Drive, at around 3.14pm on Sunday, June 11.

Police say two cars, a silver BMW 3 series driving towards Charlton Road and a silver Ford Focus travelling towards Crow Lane, were involved in a crash on the road.

The driver of the Focus, a man in his 60s, remains in hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening or life changing. The driver of the BMW, a man in his late teens, also attended hospital but did not need to be admitted.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing to anyone who saw the collision, or anyone who has dashcam or other footage of either vehicle in the moments beforehand or any other information.
