A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an industrial incident in Nottingham. Police were called to a work site in Thurgarton Street, Sneinton, after the man suffered serious head injuries shortly before midday on Wednesday, February 8.
Pictures show a section of the road has been taped off between Sneinton Hollows and Pullman Road as police remain in attendance. The investigation will be passed to the Health and Safety Executive who will investigate the circumstances.
Temporary Inspector Iain Blackstock, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Emergency services acted quickly to arrive at the scene of this report. A man was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that are currently believed to be life-threatening.
“The investigation will be taken over the by the Health and Safety Executive in due course.”
