A man suffered a fractured leg after being run over by a van at The Hoppings funfair.
Oscar Bennett, 20, was at the funfair on Newcastle's Town Moor on Saturday with his girlfriend and was sat on grass enjoying the atmosphere and entertainment when the incident happened.

Oscar, from Bishop Auckland, County Durham, said: "I was sitting minding my own business when I was run over by one of the showmen. He went over the top of me.
"He went over my left leg and left arm, stopped and reversed back over me. He wasn't going more than 20mph."
Oscar was then taken by ambulance to the nearby Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI).
"I went to the RVI and was told I had a cracked tibia and muscle damage," he said.
Oscar said two police officers were nearby when the incident happened and more quickly arrived on the scene.
He added: "They are trying to say it is my fault and I was sat in the car park even though it was a dedicated walking area."
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 7pm on Saturday, we received a report that a man, aged 20, had been injured while on the Town Moor in Newcastle.
“It was reported that the man had been sitting on the ground when a vehicle collided with him.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment and later found to have suffered a fractured leg.
“The male driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and fully co-operated with officers, who were satisfied it was an accident and no criminal offences had been committed.”
