Man stole two showers from Bristol B&Q before being confronted by staff and fleeing the store

A man stole two MIRA showers from a B&Q store in Bristol before being confronted by staff. Police say he then dropped the items on the ground outside and walked off.

The attempted theft took place at the B&Q in Gallagher Retail Park, Longwell Green, at around 1.50pm on Wednesday, January 25. The reported offender is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft tall with dark short hair and neat dark short beard.

Avon and Somerset Police has now launched a public appeal to locate the alleged offender. Investigating officers have released a CCTV image of the man they would like to identify.
