A man murdered a sex offender in a brutal stabbing before being hit by a car and killed as he escaped.
It is believed lorry driver Kieran Hamill, 37, stabbed Chris Mooney, 60, to death and shouted "he had it coming" when he was disturbed at the victim's home in Ireland.
According to sources, Mr Mooney was knifed a dozen times in the frenzied attack in the early hours of yesterday (December 1).
