A South London community has been left reeling after a man was brutally stabbed to death on his own doorstep — while making a desperate 999 call, and with his wife standing just feet away.
Leon Anderson, 39, was attacked outside his home in Maple Close, Mitcham, shortly before 7.30 pm on April 28. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he later died in the hospital.
