A man was stabbed in a 'disturbance' near a supported accommodation site in Trafford.
The incident happened near Meadow Lodge, which is on Highfield Road just off Chester Road in Stretford, at around 4.30am this morning (Tuesday). Officers rushed to the scene and found a man - aged in his 30s - had been stabbed.
He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. He remains there for treatment, police said.

A man - aged in his 20s - has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. This morning, a huge police cordon remains in place at the scene.
Chester Road has been closed off both ways near the junction with Highfield Road. The slipway on the M60 anticlockwise is also closed for traffic heading onto Chester Road.
Pictures taken this morning showed a car within the cordon. Investigations are continuing at the scene.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 4.30am this morning (25/10/2022) officers were called to reports of a disturbance near Meadow lodge, Stretford. Officers and other emergency services attended, and it was established that a man in his 30s had been stabbed.
"His injuries are believed to be serious, and he remains in hospital. A male in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
"A scene is currently in place at the location and the Chester Road, Barton Road roundabout is closed. The M60 slip road has been closed anti-clockwise preventing traffic turning left onto Chester Road.
"Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident. Anyone with information or mobile, CCTV or dashcam footage should contact officers on 101 quoting 369 of 25/10/2022."
