Man spends £1,200 on Apple laptop from Amazon but receives two boxes of dog food instead

A thoughtful dad had a heated row with Amazon for making a dog's dinner of his order - sending him two boxes of Pedigree Chum instead of the £1,200 Apple laptop he actually ordered.

61-year-old Alan Wood wanted to purchase a MacBook Pro for his daughter, but after completing the purchase he was left stunned by receiving two boxes of the premium canine meal.

The former IT manager, now retired, said that he instantly contacted Amazon for a refund, only to be refused initially.
