A man faces abduction and sex assault charges after being extradited from Victoria to NSW. (HANDOUT/NSW POLICE)

A man who allegedly drugged and kidnapped a woman, recording her being sexually assaulted before attempting to extort a $300,000 ransom for the images, will remain behind bars after being extradited.

Yanyu Mu was arrested at Oakleigh East in Victoria on Thursday.
