A man has been rushed to hospital after a serious crash in Leeds.
Around 11am on Saturday, April 8, West Yorkshire Police (WYP) officers were called to Preston Lane following reports a man on a grey scooter had crashed. The incident did not involve any other people or vehicles.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found the scooter rider with serious leg injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he continues to be treated.

Eastern Area Roads Policing Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. A spokesperson for WYP said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a scooter rider was injured in a collision in Leeds. Eastern Area Roads Policing Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident on Preston Lane, Leeds which took place at around 11am on Saturday April 8.
"It occurred after a grey scooter was involved in a single vehicle collision. The male rider suffered serious leg injuries in the incident and continues to be treated in hospital.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision and particularly those with dash-cam footage, are asked to please contact the Roads Policing Unit at Carr Gate, Wakefield, on 101, referencing collision 13230194733. Information can also be given online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat."
