An elderly man is seriously injured after a "dangerously out of control" cow attacked and trampled on him in a town centre.
Dyfed-Powys Police were called to the town of Whitland, Carmarthenshire, at around 10.15am today, after reports that a cow had escaped from Whitland Mart.
The animal attacked the man in his seventies after escaping from the nearby cattle market and running onto the railway line, causing all trains to come to a standstill.
