A man says he saves £600 a month by living in a wooden house in his friend's garden. Chris March gave up living in a conventional house for a tiny eco home.
The 40 year old has lived in small homes on and off for the past five years. Last year, he made his own miniature wood house to fit in a back garden in Northumberland.
The Mirror reports Chris' home expenses are £150 a month, which he pays to live on the plot, and his electricity bill, which is £80 a month, allows him to leave his underfloor heating on for the entire day.
