Man's incredible recovery after being hit by a bus in Leeds and left unconscious for three days

A man who was unconscious for three days after being hit by a bus in Leeds city centre has thanked the "wonderful" work of the NHS staff who saved his life.

Graham Armfield, from Woking in Surrey, was in Leeds for work on February 25 2020 when he was hit by the bus while walking across a zebra crossing on Mill Hill.

Mr Armfield got in touch with LeedsLive on the second anniversary of the near-fatal incident, which happened late in the evening after he had been to meet some friends.
