A man says his mum has only left her home twice in two years - both by ambulance. Kevin Cuthbertson said he fears his mum Veronica will have a fatal injury if she stays living there.
The only time Veronica, 76, has left her flat in the past two years is to go to hospital by ambulance. Kevin said the home was no longer accessible for his mum, who is increasingly stable on her feet and falls regularly.
Kevin said he had contacted Torus, which owns the property, on numerous occasions to ask if his mum and dad can be moved to a more accessible home. The couple have since been moved from Band D to Band C - a category which gives them 'medium priority' when bidding for other homes on the Property Pool, reports the Liverpool ECHO.
